AUSTRIAN H1STORY YEARBOOK. - The first annual issue of the Austrian History Yearbook, which is superseding the mimcographed Austrian History News Lettor (1960-63), will he ready for distrihution in Fchrnary, 1965. It will he approximately 250 pages in length. The Yearbook is puhlished by Rice University, of Houston, Texas, U.S.A. Hugo Hantsch, Friedrich EngelJanosi and Helmut Rumplcr, of the University of Vienna, and Fritz Fcllncr, of the University of Salzburg, are the Austrian members on the board of editore. The American members of the editorial board are Hans Kohn, professor emeri tus of the College of the City of New York; Charles Jelavich, of Indiana University; Robert A. Kann, of Rutgers University; Arthur J. May, professor emeritus of the University of Rochester; and S. Harrisou Thomson, professor emeri tus of the Uni­versity of Colorado. The managing editor is R. John Ratb, of Rice University.

INCONTRI ITALO-JUGOSLAVI PER LA REVISIONE DEI TESTI DI STO­RIA. Questi incontri fra professori universitari italiani e jugoslavi hanno corno oggetto principale l'esame dei rapporti intercorsi fra l'Italia e i popoli jugoslavi dalla formazione dell'Unità del nostro paese fino all'indomani della prima guerra mondiale. Tale esame fa parte di un più vasto disegno di analisi del passato, in vista della redazione e pubblicazione bilingue di una serie di tesi, concordate fra le duo parti, in cui la storia dei rapporti italo-jugoslavi venga esposta sinteticamente. A loro volta, queste tesi dovrebbero ricevere una circolazione tale da influenzare l'insegnamento scolastico della storia in ambedue i paesi, specie per quanto ha riguardo alla redazione dei libri di testo contribuendo ad una migliore comprensione fra i due popoli.
