President Clough commonted that the S1HS conld continue ita norma! associa tion wìth the American Hiatorical Associa tion despite conside-rable aentixnent on the AMA Review Board to drop specsalized hiatorical societies. Prexident Clough did ndd. however, that specialized hiatorical societies would be monitored more elosely than before.
Charles Dckell, Choinnan of the Nominating Commi ttec, aubmìtted the followinr nominationa to office: for Presidenti William J. Bouwsnu; for Vice Presidente Edward R.
