A dedicated and tireless worker. a charming and gracfous lady, yct OZK .fteatiSg organar and administrator, she has most recently prcsided over the ad hoc committee on American and Italian historians and has become the American Historical Assóeiation's diplomatic representative to the Società degli storici italiani.
In recognitìon of a distinguished career, the Society of Italian Historical Studies is pleased to award to Emiliana Pasca Noether the citation for outstanding scholatly achieve-ments in Italian siudies.
