Thinking of Ghisa now and of ali that he has meant to me I find a kìnd of doublé current of gratitude nsKelling im my heart. I am thankful for a true, undemanding and warm frindship that has never faltered over six decades, for ali the distance between us. Ajid I am grateful in another way in the realization that my understanding, appreciation and love of Italy are ultimately rooted in what Ghisa taught me and perhaps even simply in what Ghisa was. Italy has been my Constant inspiration, even one might say, my career,,. And it ali began with Ghisa.
